This is my me and my wife's third buying experience from Mazda (two from the previous location, now one from the Clearwater location), and this time was no different. Every time, the dealership staff has been a very pleasant, low pressure, and worked hard to get the right car at a price that works for us. Nate was a great salesperson and listened to our needs and worked to find the right vehicle for us when we didn't know if we could afford what we really wanted. The finance and management team did everything they could to get us in a price range that we could afford. We will definitely be back and will recommend others for sure!
I had been shopping for an MX 5 convertible for a while. Glenda Otano made it happen! She was incredibly knowledgeable and professional. She got right to the point with showing me the car and working out the very best price, Pam in finance was great. In January 2025, I traded my 3 series BMW for a perfect Mazda CX 5 for my immediate needs. Finance Manager, Jeff Springer, gave me a fair trade but also offered invaluable warranty information on my trade in. Without Jeff’s knowledge and expertise, I would not have been made aware that I was abandoning nearly $2,000 prorated rebate owed to me from a warranty attached to my trade in. Accordingly, Jeff Springer, an exceptional professional, at Mazda of Clearwater, who takes care of the sale of their products but he also carefully informs and educates Mazda customers of valuable benefits they deserve. Unfortunately, this information is not provided by finance managers at other dealerships. Jeff is an expert at Mazda of Clearwater deserving of ten (10) stars!
The professionals at Mazda of Clearwater are deserving of much higher marks than is allowed here. I requested a seasoned sales consultant and it was Kyle Hilliard who accepted my call. Kyle has worked for the dealership for over 30 years and proved to be an informed, skillful and caring family man who accepted the difficult challenge of trading in my beautiful 3 series BMW dream car and finding me an SUV to accommodate my 2 year grandson deserving of a higher seating arrangement Before I arrived at the dealership, Kyle had managed every detail to ensure that my experience was a smooth, timely and uncomplicated transaction. Mazda of Clearwater operates more like a family operation in that each member works hand in hand to provide quality care in each facet of the purchasing process within a very reasonable amount of time. While there is no comparison to the BMW’s power, its drive and handling, I am enjoying the additional safety features and the ease in which I can place my grandson into the new 2025 CX5 Premium Plus SUV. I love my CX5 for its luxury and comfort and it allows me to still drive with confidence and authority.
I wish I could give this dealership 10 out of 5 stars!!! We bought a very nice used car from them 11 months ago. Ten months after purchase there was an issue with the car from before we bought it. The extended warranty company would not cover it for reasons I won't go into. The repair was going to cost about $2000. I contacted Sonny, our salesman, and he said let him do some research. In the meantime I had the car repaired and paid for it. After Sonny did his research he called me. He said Mazda of Clearwater would be reimbursing us for the repair. Many, many cars people and dealerships could and would have washed their hands once we drove off the lot. Ten months later they still took care of us. The personnel and dealership as a whole is head and shoulders above the competition. We flew from Alaska to pick up the car and drive it back. With this kind of customer care I would buy another car from without a second thought even though I'd have to drive back 7000+ miles (again). Do your homework. This is an EXCELLENT company bar none!!! Oh! Did mention Sonny drove from Clearwater to Tampa to pick the three of us up and bring us to the dealership. In nearly 49 years of driving I have never met a salesman or dealership that takes such good care of the clients. Ten (**********) stars to you Sonny and the team there at Mazda of Clearwater!!!
